We gave different AIs a real, dangerous question on a twenty-year-old system of more than a million lines of code: change this one piece, and what else has to change? Working blind, the most expensive model got it wrong, and another burned through more than a million words of effort and still missed it. Given our tools, every model got it completely right, including the cheapest one, in a fraction of the work. It held across AI from three different makers. The tools do the heavy lifting, so the AI becomes the cheap, swappable part.
